November 10, 2025Nov 10 today my rootshare appears to have stopped connecting to data, it mounts, but it doesnt connect to any data shares or poolssyslog says there is no valid user share for smb, but i have aa user and the root user. this all occured after i scrubbed my zfspool, not sure if its related. any guidance would be greatly appreicated.
November 10, 2025Nov 10 Author just found an answer to this rootshare issue, i had removed the array as i was only using pools, i just set the array back up and the root share magicly starting working again. bug ? or feature?
November 11, 2025Nov 11 Community Expert Root share is not a stock feature, if you are using the UD plugin for that, suggest asking in its support thread.
