Docker service failed to start

Featured Replies

I tried all the solutions that I found online, nothing worked.

Doing my head in. New user to unraid, followed ibracorp heroes youtube to the letter and everything is fine until I hit the wall of 19 hours to finish parity. Cant follow Ibra until it finishes this job. But im just messing around with old drives before I commit to a proper DAS with shiny new drives. So what do I do? I stopped the whole thing and used new config in settings to start a new array without parity. Great! But Docker service doesn’t start now. Ive spent hours and cant fix it.

The issue

Reconfigured the array, now get the message 'Docker service failed to start'

What caused the issue:

initial configuration

external 3tb hdd for parity^

external 1tb hdd for the array

internal 4tb ssd for cache.

After New Config

No parity

1tb hdd for the array

512gb internal ssd for cache

What fixes have I tried so far:

Backed up and reflashed the Usb

Deleted Docker.img and restarted the service in Settings

Gave belly rubs to the dog

Nothing works. All I want at this point is to restart from fresh but how do I do that? It seems that old data is still in the disks and in the usb. I formatted the external disks but cant do that with ssds, lots of other data in there. If i reformat the usb key... i lose my key...

Thanks for any help

Nov 15 17:59:59 Tower root: mkdir: cannot create directory '/mnt/user/system': No medium found

System share is failing to get created because it's set to use a pool that no longer exists, go to shares and click "clean up", then restart the array and it should create it.
