Getting much better performance with NFS

Exported NFS on the unRaid server and used Disk Utility on Snow Leopard to Map an NFS volume.

 

Much better performance--like night and day. 

 

Weird thing is, I notice, the images in files (among other things), for NFS are stored in a hidden file in the same directory named the same name but prepended with "._" versus in the .AppleDouble directory.

    I upgraded to Lion today and have been using AFP with it.  AFP with unRaid 5.0 rc3 works much better on Lion than Snow Leopard (at least for the configurations I've had).
