unraid media randomly freezing after upgrade to 7.2.1

Featured Replies

I was told on discord to attached diagnostics here. I have been using unraid I guess since June with no issues. It has worked almost flawlessly for media. It was working perfectly last night. Today while at Work I upgraded to 7.2.1 and then I noticed my home assistant was not connecting anymore. When I got home and checked out the system I noticed that nginx proxy would not let me in and home assistant was acting like it was the first time I was running it. Plex and Jellyfin were also not picking up the servers. On discord it was mentioned that it seemed like the appdata got messed up. I restored from backup and it seemed to fix that issue. Then I noticed when I went to play something we were watching last night that episodes were missing. I noticed that disk 1 of the array was saying wrong file system or something like that. I was told to do a fix on the disk which appeared to work and though everything was solved. It was not. No matter what I play now, every few minutes or more or less the read rate will just drop to zero. the media will freeze and then the read rate will go back up again. I thought it might be the disk that had the issue with the file system but I copied the file over to another disk and played it and the same issue. I have tested multiple files now and all are doing the same thing. This is playing to a Zidoo player and the issue persists whether I use the native player or play through plex. I am currently back on 7.2.0 but this did not fix the issue. It played perfectly on this version last night.
