GUI unresponsive and services drop offline

Featured Replies

After I restart everything seems to run fine for some period of time. After 12 hours or more typically the GUI no longer responds and all my docker services drop offline. I was able to pull a diagnostics. Hoping to get some help to see wha tmight be causing the issues.

Thank you!

I don't see any issues with docker logged. Do you know the approximate time it happened?

After restarting the server and all my containers I was gone fora couple days. I get up this morning to the GUI being barely responsive, and my container services not being reachable. Using the GUI I was able to confirm that the services are still running and pull a fresh diagnostics. I also included 2 screenshots of the log screen. This was right when I got to the server this morning and what I was seeing. THe CPU on the dashboard also shows as pegged at 100%. I have no idea if any of this is related.

Edit: After stopping and restarting docker the CPU usage dropped back to normal and the GUI became responsive again.

Unraid seems to have gotten less stable for me and I am at a loss as to why.

Thank you again for your help!

In my experience, these errors can be the result of the server being close to exhausting the memory, GUI can become extremely slow, like 1 minute to open the dashboard, try limiting the memory for VMs/docker services, or adding a little more RAM.

It could also be one or more containers hogging the CPU, try pinning only some cores to them, and leave cores 0/1 available for Unraid.

Also, recommend trying a couple of other things, go to Settings - Global share settings and set the Number of fuse File Descriptors to the max, and enable this:
