November 25, 2025Nov 25 Hi,i have a RAIDz1 pool with 5 slotsone disk dropped out. It went to not installed. I started the Array and the pool came online without that disk. After that, the space for that disk went to "not assigned" .I manually resilvered the pool and it can be manually imported without issues.The GUI wants to "format" the disk if i set from "not assigned" to that disk, even though the pool is fine.How can i align this discrepancy from GUI to real life? November 25, 2025Nov 25 Community Expert Solution on main click on the first device for that pool and then "remove pool"back on main, create a new pool with the same name and number of slotsassign the pool device(s), leave the filesystem set to autostart the array to import the pool

Your description was very helpful and solved my problem of not being able to mount my pool via GUI/unRAID and having to fear overwriting the disk (even though i think it would have been just resilvering, but hey, it was not needed so why the additional risk?).
