November 25, 2025Nov 25 Wanting to try Unraid on an older windows box I have. I am running a Gigabyte GA78LMT motherboard. I have followed the media creation very carefully. Ran the makebootable.bat file. There are no UEFI settings on this board's bios. Tired all the usb ports on the machine. Set the advanced settings that were present in the bios. Made sure that the USB stick was the only option for boot. Have tried using the Create the usb drive from the website, and tried doing a manual build of the boot stick. Same results. The bios is recognizing the drives I have installed, then when it attempts to boot, I get the message "Missing operation system"Should I try an older legacy version of the server?I have looked in the forums and only found one post similar to this,. What am I missing here?Tim
