November 30, 2025Nov 30 Hello,I have been troubleshooting this issue for the last few hours and i'm getting real tired of it.I'm just built my own NAS which will be headless and im using an old GPU for installation purposes. Specs:Motherboard B450M HDV R4.0 mATXAMD Ryzen 3 3100I have tried booting two different Sandisk 3.0 USB's where I used UNRAIDs software to make them bootable. I also tried the manual installation and ran make_bootable script to no avail. What I get is "No operative system detected' upon booting from USB.In BIOS I tried disabling CSM and enabling secure boot and vice versa. Set boot to UEFI only, boot override etc. Nothing seems to be working at all.Can it be that BOTH usb's are not good enough to boot? I tried it on my PC and it couldnt boot out of the box either without changing any BIOS settings.I've read countless threads about this issue and it seems it worked for some using a 2.0 usb instead but why would that make any difference? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

November 30, 2025Nov 30 Set your usb key to MBR before using the flashing tool, and launch the make_bootable bat as adminEnable CSM, disable secure boot, you can’t enable secure boot on Unraid, you must be a fanatic as I to enable Secure Boot with Unraid Edited November 30, 2025Nov 30 by gyto6
