Low uptime. Please help me identify the cause

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I've been running unraid for about a year without any issues. I moved my server to another pc and so far everything looks good. My main use is a plex server with some of the Arr apps. I don't have any parity drive, as I mainly keep media that I don't mind losing if an HDD fails.

What I've been noticing is that every now and then, when I go to the dashboard to do some stuff, the uptime says something like "10 hours", on a server that is running 24/7. That leads me to think that it's rebooting while I'm not at home to realize.

I did a memtest without errors, and the mother and cpu worked fine for years on a windows installation, so I don't suspect HW malfunction.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Attach Diagnostics ZIP to your NEXT post in this thread.

Setup Syslog Server.

Do you have an UPS?

Is your BIOS configured to boot on power restore?

Thanks for your reply.

Here are the diagnostics

diegonas-diagnostics-20251210-2141.zip

No UPS and my bios is NOT setup to power on after a power loss.

I don't suspect a power outage, as the pc is still on, and the rest of devices in my home don't lose power. I believe it's a reboot

Thanks again for your help
