Unclean shutdown, drive in the middle of an Unbalanced move no longer has a filesystem?

You should be able to just create the partition with the correct layout, since we know the starting sector, and do a new config to reimport the disk:

  • first unmount the filesystem with umount /x

  • unload the loop device loosetup -d loop3

  • Create the partition, check the disk is still /dev/sdl, and adjust if required: sgdisk -o -n 1:411648:0 /dev/sdl

  • Reboot Unraid, this is required

  • After the reboot, disk8 should show as wrong; go to Tools - New Config - Keep all - Apply.

  • start the array, and the issue should be resolved

I did that. all data saved except oops formatted it and forgot to cp all the /music/. probably the most expendable data to lose so could have been worse. all that porn, took years to curate!

Edit: I saw your second second post. Yeah no I just copied the data to a drive on the array, oh well, about 4tb data saved. thanks for the help.
