June 3, 201214 yr It should be possible, but with unraid being mainly a media server type OS, it might be awkward as well.... I know that all of my movies have a minimum of 4 files in each movie folder: Movie.avi folder.jpg(box cover art) backdrop.jpg(movie background) movie.xml(metadata) So a duplicate file finder would find TON's of these files. I suspect most people would have the same issue. Maybe outputting the "duplicate" files to a tmp file and parsing it with an array, allowing users to define filenames to ignore. Or just calculate the MD5 of each file to compare, if MD5's of any two files are the same, the files are truly identical, not just the filename. If no one else chimes in, I'll have a look next time I have some free time
June 3, 201214 yr the way the unmenu one works, is it looks for the dup files notices in the syslog, then attempts to find all those files matching so you can take care of it, but I use spaces in my dir names and file names and it dont like it. Myk
