Slow array speed

Featured Replies

Hello,

As the title says, for some reason my array speed is maxing out around 75-80 MB/s. At first, I thought it was a SATA bottleneck (as someone suggested), so I switched to a new HBA controller. Initially, it seemed I was getting about 240 MB/s, but after updating Unraid, my speed dropped back down to roughly 75 MB/s.

I originally thought the Mover was slow because it was handling smaller files. However, when I configured a folder to write directly to the array and transferred a single large file, I was still stuck at around 75 MB/s.

I am attaching the diagnostic logs captured while the Mover was running and during the large file transfer. I hope someone can point me in the right direction.

Thank you for your time.

Assuming you mean writing speed, that's about normal with default writing mode; try turbo write.

Hello, thank you so much for your time. I believe this fixed it. I got range from 100-220MB now.
