Unmountable Unsupported or no file system

Featured Replies

Hey all, so I have ran into an issue, especially after adding a new disk that I pulled from another system, and cannot seem to get passed it.
I have 2 drives in my Pool Devices that keep telling me "Unmountable: unsupported or no file system"

I have done quite a bit of searching on the web, though most things point back to support pages that are 5+ years old and no longer have the same commands in the same places or available.

I have attempted fdisk to delete the drives and recreate new partition tables
I have attempted pre-clears and flag comes back positive

I have attempted SMART tests and they come back successful

I have followed various other posts that gave different options such as checking xfs but I do not see that as an option on these drives, at least in the pages they show to go to.

FYI: UnRaid 7.2.0

Trying to create a 2 drive pool for cache + 1 drive pool for VMs

If you did all that then they would be unmountable because they haven't been formatted. Have you tried formatting?

Man.... I could have sworn I did the format but it appears I did not.

Thanks for this! Appears I got so agitated with everything else I was doing I just missed seeing the message at the bottom.
