January 2Jan 2 I am relatively new to UNRAID and I have been putting off an upgrade for months. I keep reading about problems and seeing multiple plugin upgrades during the period from the end of 6.12 into the era of Unriad 7. Troubleshooting is traumatic for me and usually involves the efforts of gurus like Jorge B. I honestly hate to use their valuable time, but if my system is down, I am mildly paniced. UNRAID 6.12 was bulletproof but I keep reading about the next features, and did not want the gap to get too large.I waited til the plugin updates calmed down and 7.2 added a number. I figured out how to back up and restore an older version using usb zip backup and dove in.From what I can tell EVERYTHING is still working great.I truly love UNRAID and the organization. During the update I read all the screens on my GUI and on my server monitor and I get a great appreciation of ALL the WORK that went into making this update successful. What a wonderful organization My license is worth every cent.
January 2Jan 2 Happy to hear your upgrade went well. You shouldn't have anxiety about upgrading. As long as you remember to make a backup of your flash drive before performing the upgrade, you can always roll back if necessary. You should always strive to stay up to date, as falling too far behind can make it more difficult to upgrade. If you have a hard time troubleshooting, it's smart to wait for a release or two when upgrading to a major version, as there always will be some small bugs in the first releases. But historically, it's pretty stable after that.
January 13Jan 13 Hallo Ich habe auch ein Update von Unraid Version 6.12.15 auf 7.2.3 durchgeführt und nun funtioniert die Communications Applikation nicht mehr, es werden keine Plugins oder apps angezeigt . Angeblich wäre es ein DNS Problem aber diese Auflösung funktioniert. Hat jemand eine Idee voran es liegen kann . Wenn ich zuruck auf Version 6.12.15 gehe funktioniert alles wieder,Danke Mfg
