January 3Jan 3 Hi all,Newbie here. I'm running a pre-clears on two previously used disks that I got from work as they were showing SMART errors when I had them in an array previously. One of them pre-cleared fine taking around 36 hrs. The other (WDC_WD60EFRX-68L0BN1_WD-WX11D3678U6C) is barely moving, made it to about 5% pre-read, peaking at 3MB/s, in that same time before I canned it and started again. Does this mean the drive is toast? If not I'd greatly appreciate some suggestions on what I can do. My diagnostic logs are attached. Thank you! Also recieving a heaps of these errors while it runs:Warning [TOWER] - raw read error rate (failing now) is 131035WDC_WD60EFRX-68L0BN1_WD-WX11D3678U6C (dev2)tower-diagnostics-20260103-2022.zip Edited January 3Jan 3 by jackooo
January 3Jan 3 Community Expert Solution Looking at the SMART information for this drive: 5 Reallocated_Sector_Ct PO--CK 161 161 196 Reallocated_Event_Count -O--CK 073 073 000 - 127197 Current_Pending_Sector -O--CK 200 200 000 - 793Based on these I would think the disk is not in a good state and should not be used in the Unraid array.

Looks like the Reallocated_Sector_Count is flagging. I believe these were both run together for a few years prior to me getting them.
