Upgrade 7.1.4 to 7.2.3 - Array will not start - Wrong Pool State - Cache Missing Devices

Featured Replies

My Plex server was acting up this morning, so I logged onto Unraid. It said there was an upgrade available, to 7.2.3. I initiated the installation.

On reboot, I am not able to start the array. When I try, I get the message 'Array will not start - Wrong Pool State - Cache Missing Devices'.

I am not any kind of expert with Unraid and I am not sure where to start. Can you guys please help me with this?

Also, if you have any other feedback from reviewing the diagnostics about how I might improve my configuration, I would greatly appreciate that. It is supposed to be a very simple setup that I use as a file server for Plex DVR and some music files. Thanks.

Are you supposed to have a cache drive? Don't see a device for it in SMART.

7.2.3 doesn't allow an empty pool. Assuming there's no cache device, click on the cache pool and then "remove"

You are a genius. That worked. Thank you very much for your help!
