HiSoC8Y
Hello, Would like to know if anyone test a number of 4TB disks in unRAID? If so, how many disks, which model/brand, and what was the read/write performance? Thanks Link to comment

jowi
I'm running a 6x 4TB Hitachi HDS724040ALE640 unraid server on V5.0-rc5 for a few weeks now. Parity build takes about 9 hours at an average of about 100MB/s. Link to comment
DoeBoye
+1. I've got a 4TB Hitachi running as parity drive and so far so good! Link to comment
downloadski
I have 5 of them (Hitachi), 1 parity, 4 data. Now half full. After some startup issues with my sata card it now runs fine on Supermicro mainbord. Link to comment
PeterB
After some startup issues with my sata card it now runs fine on Supermicro mainbord. Care to elaborate? What issues, what sata card etc. Link to comment
downloadski
This one: Areca ARC-1300ix-16 I am not sure if the card does not work at all, or that my system did not like the load i put on it with 5 pre-clears at the same time. It could have been MVSAS issues, not enough memeory or user error (me) Will retry the card in the feature i guess. Link to comment
