disabeling plugins or unmenu add-ons for a clean start up without losing data.

Hello,

I am using v5 beta 14 at the moment, am quite happy with it and experimented with some plugins, simple features and installed some addons via unmenu.

I have some trouble with usingthe server. When I stop the array, or attempt to, the webinterface does not refresh, I cannot reboot the system after the system has stopped via the webinterface. Via putty I can telnet intothe system for a powerdown command.

This is not what I want. Think that it has something to the experimenting I have done.

How can i safely bring the configuration into afresh state without compromising the data I have ( 6= Tbyte of data).

Before wanting to move on to RC3 or  RC4 I want the system to react to buttons pressed on the main menu of unraid.

Is there a topic about this as I could not find anything usefull during a forum search.

Should I start with uninstalling everything I installed in unmenu? How about uninstalling plugins, should I empty my plugin folder on the flashdrive?

Could really use some help here from the community. I can provide a syslog if this is needed to solve my issues.

If disks are busy, they cannot be un-mounted.

If disks cannot be un-mounted, the array will not shut itself down when requested.  It will wait (nearly forever) for the disks to not be busy.

You must stop any add-ons before attempting to stop the array.

For any help, seek assistance from those who wrote the plugins.

You will have to supply a syslog showing what is happening when you do attempt to stop the array.

Oh yes, I'm moving this thread to the customizations forum....  I think it will get a wider audience there for what you need.
