Howdy all

So I've got my Unraid box up and running the 3 disk free version with the following hardware.

I'm running UNRAID 4.7

Sempron 145

Asrock 880G MB with internal nic disabled

Intel Pro 1000 PCI Gigabit NIC

2 GB stick of Crucial 1.5v PC3-8500 RAM

2 Seagate 1.5TB hard drives

1 2 gig Western Digital green parity drive

All three drives passed preclear

Okay so twice now the "Tower" has disappeared from my Windows Network. I reboot my PC but it doesn't fix it.

I then log into //tower and try to spin down the drives to reboot it but the drives don't spin down even thou it looks as if they are trying to.

I then try the CLI command shutdown but after waiting for about 5 min nothing happens. I then try to log back in under //tower and it says something about how the system is in the process of shutting down and I can't access anything else. The server never actually does shut down.

At this point I have to press the reset button which I hate to do.

I've been using UNRAID for about a week now and I've had to do this twice already.

Any suggestions? Please keep in mind I'm a total rookie when it comes to this stuff.

Thank you!

Jon
