January 14Jan 14 Hi,within the last 36 hours my Unraid server has completely crashed twice, after running extremely stable for several months without any issues. I have not changed anything and there were no updates installed.I went through the logs as far as I am able to, but unfortunately I couldn’t identify any errors – either because I didn’t find them or because there are none. This is making me quite worried, since many friends and family members rely on applications running on this server, including Smart Home services.Could you please help me by taking a look at the diagnostic files and see if you can find any hints or clues as to what might be causing these crashes?Thank you very much for your help. heimserver-diagnostics-20260114-1318.zip
January 14Jan 14 Community Expert Normal syslog starts over after every boot. Enable the syslog server and post that after the next crash. It may also be a good idea to run memtest.
January 14Jan 14 Author Hi in the meantime it crashed again at around 15:00 / 3 pm i had the syslog server already enabled for quite some time pfa the logs and thx for the help!Export Syslog after crash.rtf syslog-127.0.0.1.log
January 14Jan 14 Community Expert Unfortunately, there's nothing relevant logged, this can also be a hardware issue, one thing you can try is to boot the server in safe mode with all docker containers/VMs disabled, let it run as a basic NAS for a few days, if it still crashes it's likely a hardware problem, if it doesn't start turning on the other services one by one, including the individual docker containers.
