Some problems at each start...

Featured Replies

Hello

Recently, I have had some issues everytime I was starting up my server (4.7). Well, it was not booting up

Every time I have to hook up a keyboard and monitor to check in the BIOS, and previous settings are changed (stop on all errors instead of keyboard only, boot sequence is changed to the defaut one, etc...)

I am thinking the issue is coming form the battery of my motherboard (CMOS battery)

Could you confirm?

Is the usual CMOS battery a CR2032?

Thanks

It could be the battery or related to the usb port you have your OS booting from. I had the same problem when using a case usb port but when switched to a motherboard usb port the problem was fixed.

You'll need to check the MB manual or just take a look at the current battery.
