Any idea how to use GPU acceleration for local whisper with this? I've tried the usual runtime='nvidia' and adding the nvidia driver and GPU ID variables, but it never seems to acknowledge it.

I do not have a GPU that supports the necessary level of CUDA to test this functionality. I would recommend you start with a review the project documentation linked below if you haven't already done so. A review of the log output might also prove fruitful.
