"Docker Service failed to start"

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Got an issue where I'm getting an error message, "Docker Service failed to start".

I have done some searches on this error and there are many posts on corrupt docker images.

My docker isn't an docker image though. I converted it to a directory structure some time ago.

I'm not quite sure how to fix this.

I'm not sure if it is relevant but my system is doing a parity check.

What would be the steps to fix this issue?

I just realized my cache disk says "Unmountable: wrong or no file system".

I found this post on how to recover a BTRFS disk or pool but it's from 2017. Is this still accurate?

I did a SMART check and found this (attached):

=== START OF SMART DATA SECTION ===

SMART overall-health self-assessment test result: FAILED!

- available spare has fallen below threshold

- media has been placed in read only mode

I'm guessing I need to replace the M.2 Drive. How do I get the data off the disk?

I have been following the unraid guide for data recovery

I have typed in:

btrfs check /dev/mdnvme0n1p1

Where nvme01n1 = x from the guide and I get the following:

mount check: cannot open /dev/mdnvme0np1: No such file or directory

Yep.

You may try mounting it read-only or cloning it with ddrescue
