Server transfering??

Featured Replies

Hello good people)

Im having a bit of a problem with downloading files from my unraid server... When im using smb, it kills the speed completely, i have a 2.5 gb nic in both my pc and server, as well as a router capable of 10Gbps.. When im transfering files i only get about 35-40mbps with Smb. i also tried with ftp and it's even slower.. So im looking for at better solution, i've looked at resilio, but that is not exactly what im loking for either.. So i tried rsync but it is not without issues.. So is there a app or docker container that can transfer with higher speed and with some error correction?? '

As mentioned i have tried rsync, and tried to self study with chatgpt, but it is not easy?

So any thoughts??

Thank you)

From further down at that link:

To change Write Mode:

  1. Navigate to Settings → Disk Settings.

  2. Locate Tunable (md_write_method).

  3. Choose your preferred mode:

    • Read/Modify/Write (default)

    • Reconstruct Write (Turbo Write)

    • Auto (future feature)

  4. Click Apply to confirm your choice.

Not entirely clear. Do you mean the transferred file and the original don't have matching checksums?
