Docker Failed to Start

Why have you set your docker.img to 75GB? Have you had problems filling it? The usual cause of filling docker.img is an application writing to a path that isn't mapped.

Your system share has files on the array. And some other things to discuss about your shares.

You should remove this plugin:

NerdTools.plg - 2024.02.17 (Up to date) (Incompatible)

And install Fix Common Problems.

I looked up a fix for this problem and someone suggested that I increase the size of the docker.img.

I just tried Fix Common Problems and I'll go through the list

How many containers do you normally have?

  • Community Expert

Looks like you had it set to 50G earlier, and you were only using 13G of that.

Set it to 30G, then

Reboot just to make sure nothing of this is still hanging around.

The most serious problem there is unwritable cache. Run a scrub on it.

Then post new diagnostics

Was the Docker image recreated?

Same FCP results:

Disable Docker and VM Manager and leave them disabled until everything else is resolved.

See if you can copy cache to the array. Mover won't work since cache can't be written to remove files from it so you will have to copy instead of move.

After everything is copied, you can reformat cache and we can go from there.

HI All,

First of all, I have NO idea why I did not respond to this above posts, my apologies for that!

Second of all, the beast has reared is head again!

image.png

We recently had a power outage at home and my backup was faulty so I am thinking that this was caused by an unclean shut down!

As above, I ran a scrub and no errors came out.

My machine is currently undergoing a parity check btw.

Attached are diags

I think that my problem isthat my Cache is getting too full:

Not long after, the Docker problem came back. How can I clear the cache?

You should make sure you set a value for the Minimum Free Space on the cache pool to avoid it getting too full.

Hi All, my apologies for going silent, I was experiencing multiple power outages at my home and my backup power system was not working problem so I decided to shut off my server to prevent issues from happening.

The problems that I am facing now started when I had an unclean shutdown.

Here are the diags that i got just now

Unclean shutdown not a likely cause of problems.

Can you tell us exactly what problems you are facing now?

Plex was the main issue, it was just refusing to load, so what I did was the above DOCKER reset and then BEFORE I reinstalled PLex I deleted the folders in appdata and not it is fine.

I will continue to monitor. Thank you so much for the assistance!
