I'm having this issue on a windows 10 box.

I rebooted the Windows 10 box but no luck.

C:\Windows\system32>net use

New connections will be remembered.

Status Local Remote Network

Unavailable M: \\192.168.1.30\mdrive Microsoft Windows Network

Unavailable U: \\192.168.1.30\udrive Microsoft Windows Network

The command completed successfully.

Is it possible this issue impacts my ability to install my newly purchased UNRAID key ?

Post your Diagnostics file in a new post.

That suggests your Windows computer has already established a connection to your Unraid server using a different login.

Go to Credential Manager and delete all credentials to your server so they can be renegotiated.

I have merged your posts from that other thread into your thread here.

Your diagnostics show you have 2 .key files on flash, a trial key, which will "phone home", and a starter key, which shouldn't.

Try renaming config/Trial.key on your flash drive to Trial.old and see if your Starter.key will work.

You haven't changed flash drives have you?

No.

in /boot/config.

I tried to rename Trial.key to Trial.old

with just

rename Trial.key Trial.old

"not enough arguments"

mv Trial.key Trial.old Just note that the command is case-sensititve so it might be mv trial.key trial.old

You probably need to reboot to get rid of the license error message.

I rebooted and that seemed to work.

I deleted all the credentials related to the UNRAID.

is there a way of knowing the login/password being used to connect to the SAMBA share ?

I'm pretty sure it must be my windows login and password.

Nothing is in the Credential Manager

I did add my Windows Login and Password as a UNRAID user.

Except my Windows login is a capital and UNRAID wanted no capital.

Seems to work.
