xboxhater03 - Out Of Memory errors detected on your server

Featured Replies

For the past 4 months or so, my server has been rebooting randomly (about every 24 hours). Recently, I’ve been getting an “Out of Memory” warning in the Fix Common Problems plugin. I have already run Memtest, and it passed. Could someone please have a look at the diagnostics?

Thanks.

Since that other thread was less than a week old, we will leave it to the OP. I have split yours into its own thread.

Hasn't happened since you rebooted, so FCP doesn't show that anymore and I can't see it in syslog.

Always try to get diagnostics before rebooting.

You could also setup Syslog Server.

Looks like a container; possibly Immich is hitting a hard memory limit. If it's not that one, it's a container that is set to 2GB max (--memory=2g)

a2718e102eaf is the container ID, you can verify on with the advanced view toggled on the docker page

I removed all parameters that capped the memory on all my containers; this got rid of the out-of-memory issue. Now my server reboots every 12 hours. Any idea on what could be causing this?

Unfortunately there's nothing relevant logged. Also note that a server rebooting by itself is almost always a hardware issue.

Because memtest is only definitive if it finds errors, if you have multiple sticks try using the server with just one, if the same try with a different one, that will basically rule out bad RAM.
