Featured Replies

I just switched my unraid server to a new PC im using 2 HBA cards and they seem to detect the other drives alright. when i plug the drive thats not being detects into the old Unraid PC it works and it also works in windows. i took all the data off and deleted the partition from windows but i still cannot see the drive in the new unraid setup. any ideas what i could try? thanks for looking :)

How is the drive powered in the different computers? MOLEX connector involved in the computers where it works perhaps?

on my windows pc it was powered straight from the psu and the old unraid is powered from a backplane. i tried direct from psu and with molex on the new pc and neither worked.
