Array stuck on "Mounting Disks"

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm quite new to troubleshooting this type of Unraid issue and don't really know where to start checking myself so hopefully someone can give me some tips.

Today I noticed that docker service had stopped so tried to manually restart it but the service just failed to start again.

After that I tried to briefly check the logs but couldn't really see anything indicating what was wrong so reboot the server and after boot it is now stuck on "Mounting Disks".

After checking some more my best guess is that there is something wrong with the cache disk but SMART doesn't give any error.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to verify what the actual issue is and what is needed to fix it?

Attached is Diag from before and after reboot as well as SMART report of the Cache disk.

The btrfs pool is crashing, before that, btrfs was detecting a lot of data corruption, so my first recommendation would be to run memtest.

Thank you, you are correct. Memtest is detecting lots of errors (

You must never attempt to run any computer unless RAM is working perfectly. Everything goes through RAM. The OS and other executable code, your DATA. EVERYTHING!. The CPU can't do anything with anything until it is loaded into RAM.
