You are likely to get more informed feedback if you attach your system's diagnostics zip file to your next post in this thread.

It is always a good idea to do this to allow us to see the current state of your system and so we can see logs and configuration information.

Drive is not generating a valid SMART report, possibly a bad drive, but try swapping ables just to be sure.

Changed the cables and ports around. It got recognized for a bit, but then threw some more errors, after which it went offline completely. I will be RMA'ing this drive. Thanks for the input so far!
