what is best Data Backup or Mapped Drive like ZimaOS Client Software For Multiple Users

Featured Replies

so i trying to set up my family with a backup solution from there comps.. since they dont live at home.. but i want to be able to store there backups

currently i setup

/mnt/user/Family Files/<Family Name>/

/mnt/user/Family Files/<Family Name>/documents

/mnt/user/Family Files/<Family Name>/videos

etc

so i liked how ZimaOS Client works you log into the software.. it then maps a Drive Letter to Main files so id like that too a mapped drive i guess to specifc users name

i have tried like File Browser and Sftp+ but looking something easy.. and can work on a tablet to back up files to the tablet but read it... does unraid have a Client OS like this too that ZimaOS uses

or what is the best solutions... and would it be better to use like TrueNas for the family to upload files to and then Rsync to Unraid for backups.. or or maybe openvpn and then map the drive letter or

what are you guys using for backing up family files to specific location i was looking at file cloud and nextcloud or even like a onedrive style or is there something better you guys are using.. ZimaOS is only good for 1 user so cant be used for multiple users well kinda they access same location but not what i want.. i just liked how the client OS worked and mapped a drive letter when logged in

so any suggestions that are working well be great.. as the family members arent tech savy and something simply to use that doesnt take 10 steps to setup
