March 3Mar 3 Congratulations to everyone on the fully working and repaired plugin! Thank you very much @chodeus .Personally, I started using it from the beta stage and a lot of work has been done since then, all issues was fixed, and some new futures added also. So we have a live again plugin...
March 3Mar 3 Maybe it's time this becomes core unRAID functionality...I spend a little too much time keeping up with deprecated plugins for things that needs a lot of settings migrations. (not to sound ungrateful to anyone picking up these projects, but why is functionality like this a plugin to begin with?)
March 4Mar 4 The new update seemed to have created some issues with the plugin. The containers are not in groups anymore.2026.03.04Minor security improvements to align with Unraid best practicesFix empty folder showing "3rd Party" labelFix invalid regex pattern in folder name input Edited March 4Mar 4 by Vaichi

(not to sound ungrateful to anyone picking up these projects, but why is functionality like this a plugin to begin with?)I hear you but it’s a matter of opinion. I’d love to see this functionally becoming core unraid but that’s just my opinion, I know a lot of users that have no interest in this functionality. Fortunately it doesn’t take long to backup files and migrate to the new version but I hear your frustration with having to do this. As I’ve said earlier, if I lose time or ability to maintain this I’ll hand the repository over to someone so it has as little impact as possible.

It's one of the personal NAS operating systems out there that popularized extending what we typically think of when we say NAS. Apps, VMs and such.Beyond my frustration of having to do this dance around, since migrating from one plug-in to the next that's technically the same, just not abandoned, maybe LimeTech can integrate some way to keep plug-in settings un-deleted and inheriting them in another plug-in install? As for you handing over the repo to someone else in case you can't or don't want to maintain it anymore, that's highly commendable and I appreciate this. Much love! 🫶
March 4Mar 4 Happy to see this plugin back up and running again. I've been using this since v1. I removed v2 a month ago but still had my old backup. Restoring was a breeze, and adding all my new containers to folders was easy like always.
March 4Mar 4 Solved. Thank you @Faceman & @chodeus @chodeus On to another topic…is it possible to hide volumes? There was a time were the plugin hid the volumes and just kept the image/container visible. The volumes were collapse. An example, Nextcloud AIO the image will be visible, but the volumes were collapse. Hopefully, I explained myself correctly.

More than happy for screenshots to be PMd to me if people don’t want to post them here. There are some settings in the folder creation page that may help you but I think I have found a bug with the volumes. My assumption is you want the volumes to appear somewhat collapsed like this if “basic view” is selected on the docker page and maybe the full/expanded volume paths are visible if “advanced view” is toggled on?Please excuse the screenshot off my phone
March 4Mar 4 Minor visual bug:Buttons cut off when using the plugin in Unraid 7.1.4Updating to Unraid 7.2.4 fixes this.

It will work but it is adapted to the responsive webui added in Unraid 7.2.I'll look at backwards compatibility if there are enough people running earlier versions.

Hopefully FolderView of some description is built into unraid OS by then so it’s no longer my problem 😂But for that issue I can generate backwards compatibility but I’m not going to rollback to test it, I’ll be making sure I haven’t broken anything in 7.2+

March 4Mar 4 I figured it out.It was related to the docker compose plugin.https://github.com/mstrhakr/compose_pluginPersonally I didn't set it up yet. Was considering moving immich over and redoing all of that. Postponed it and forgot about it.It adds a new section at the bottom of the page for docker compose. Probably something interfering there. It worked fine up until this latest update though. Hope this helps someone else too :)

That plugin looks quite nice! I can see why there might be a conflict, 2 plugins attempting to do the same thing. Edited March 4Mar 4 by chodeus

March 4Mar 4 Yep, same here. I don't have the docker compose plugin. Just did a normal update and lost all my folders.

March 4Mar 4 Sorry for not doing even the simplest of verification before asking. Worked after clearing cache and a couple of forced refreshes. 🙈

Glad it’s working for you.Hopefully there weren’t be many more updates that need a cache clearing.Sorry for the hassle!I don’t know where the best place is to capture this; I made comment in the first post. If you have a suggestion please let me know. Edited March 4Mar 4 by chodeus
