February 19Feb 19 dlsrv-diagnostics-20260218-1834.zipOkay so I have been using Unraid for a number of years now with no issues. Recently as part of an upgrade I splurged on some new cache drives and a new rack mount case to fit better in my 19" rack than my full size server did. I got one with an 8-bay "hot-swap" backplane. This one to be specific. - https://www.rosewill.com/rosewill-rsv-h408-black-silver/p/9SIA072KNA9804I have 7 drives and 1 NVMe. This is all running on a ASUS Maximus IX Code motherboard with an intel i7-7700k. I have a A380 card as well.Drives 1-4 - connected to the backplane, SAS HD to 4 SATA splitter into motherboard SATA slots. Shows up fine.Drives 5-7 - connected to the backplane, SAS HD to 4 SATA splitter into PCIe expansion card. None of these show up.I've tried a whole slew of configurations including shuffling around PCIe slots and swapping out cables, moving drives around and for the life of me I can't get all 7 drives to show up.... unless I don't use half of the backplane bays. Connecting power and SATA directly to the drives seems to work. The weird thing is I could move all my working drives (drives 1-4) to the "non-working" side of the backplane and then all those drives will show up like normal. As soon as plug in drives 5-7 into the previously working part of the backplane drives 1-4 no longer show but 5-7 do.I'm absolutely stumped, not sure if anyone has seen this before or could provide some guidance. February 19Feb 19 Community Expert Sounds like you may have the wrong breakout cable. Search on forward vs reverse sas breakout

If so, it suggests an issue with the backplane.
