Use of partitions as zfs devices

Featured Replies

Hi, I recently wanted to move a zfs pool from Proxmox to Unraid. Normally this is no problem to import and get an updated GUI. But this time it didn't work, because the pool uses a partition on mirrored NVMEs as special vdev for metadata. It is only possible to select full disks in the GUI and no partitions. At least I didn't find a way to do it.

This causes the pool not being recognized with the advise to format the disks.

Of course, the pool can be imported from CLI and by putting the import command into the "go" file, but the GUI stays out of sync instead of updating the status.

Please provide full zfs functionality through the GUI. It should update the GUI status for existing imported pools at least.
