Please Help Blacklisted Flash Drive 6 Months Old

Featured Replies

I used my Samsung bar drive for about 6 months and lost power a couple times. I used battery backup as well. Checked my account and it said it was blacklisted. So I purchased a new Sandisk. Used my Flash Backup to create the drive. Got home today and tried to boot and it wouldn't. Checked my account again and it says this one is blacklisted already. I don't understand what is going on. I was going to try and create a new flash drive then add the config file then i found out it was blacklisted. What do I do now. This drive is hours old. Please help.

A bit of Background:

The problem is that there are a lot of counterfeit drives out there. San disk is just one of the more prominent but Samsung would be another likely target! And the cheaper no-name manufacturers don't even brother with adding a GUID onto their product. There are rumors that Unraid version 7.3.X may have an alternative licensing scheme.

Best advice is buy from a reputable vendor (Amazon is NOT one of those for several reasons that have to do with their warehousing model) and don't buy on price alone.
