February 25Feb 25 I currently have the basic plan and only have 6 devices allowed, and I am full up with my 5 drives for storage including my parody drive, and my cache drive making it 6. I want to transfer my files from my computer with USB but I can't mount it since it is going over the limit... Why 6? why not 10 or 15? Why not allow users to have more flexibility? Or even allow USB attached drives not count to the pool since they are just used for quicker transfers.
February 25Feb 25 Author I did that first and it didn't show up at all as an unsigned device, does it show up somewhere else? I checked shares, and its not there either.

Your license is checked when you start the array. After that, anything you plug in is not counted against your license.
February 25Feb 25 Solution You need to have the UD plugin for the drive to show up in GUI unassigned devices section after the array starts; it won't show without it until the array is stopped.
February 25Feb 25 Author I do not have the UD plugin installed. I will do that. Thank you all for the help.
