Docker don't start

Featured Replies

Hello,

I'm French and I'm just beginning with Unraid and DIY NAS setup.

I've already encountered an error with Docker: the service won't start ("Docker service failed to start"). I tried the usual fix by going to Settings > Docker, setting "Enable Docker" to No, deleting the Docker vDisk image, then setting it back to Yes with a new 20GB size and applying changes. But I'm not sure if I did it correctly, or maybe the image didn't delete properly—I'm confused about how to fully remove it.

Here's my diagnostics file:

Array status: array is started, pool RAID1 status, disk health]

Can someone help me troubleshoot why Docker still fails to start?

Thanks for your help!

Looks like you tried several things, maybe even attempting to enable docker before you had actually created any storage. Your docker paths are referring to user shares, which should be fine except /mnt/user doesn't exist for some reason.

Disable Docker in Settings, reboot, and post new diagnostics

Thank you, I created a folder to mount Docker and everything is working now.
Thanks for your advice!

Do you mean you created a user share?
