March 12Mar 12 This has been an issue for quite a while for me. Probably since 6.12 or even earlier I just haven't really cared enough to look into it much until now.My system notifications just do not work. These are Unraid Updates and disk (threshold, temp, SMART, offline) notifications that I'm concerned about. I must have messed up my configuration somewhere because I have created a new install but just copied my config directory over and I'm still having the same issue. I would like not to have to start fresh and change each individual setting to how I had it before and install plugins and their settings.I am utilizing both email and the Pushover agent. These work great with all the plugins such as auto docker and plugin updates, mover tuning, nvidia driver updates, and fix common problems. I do get a notification with the array status that I have set to hourly at the moment. But if ever I have a SMART error (such as today) or disk offline (happened last year) or an Unraid update, I don't get any notification. It's not until I log into the dashboard and see the thumbs down on the disk or the offline disk or in the header next to the current version number that a new update is available.I have tried disabling system updates and reenabling them. I've reset my agent and email settings, tests work for both. I've disabled and reenabled Browser, Email, and Agents for Notice, Warning, and Alerts. I've purposely placed my Disk utilization threshold to way below the usage so that they show red in the dashboard but no notifications after that (not even browser).Anyway, I have scoured the internet the best I could and haven't found a solution so if anyone has anything better than a fresh install I would appreciate the help. I will attempt a fresh install if there really is no other solution but thought it was best to reach out here before doing so. Thanks in advanced. I've attached a diagnostics zip. earl-unraid-diagnostics-20260312-1709.zip
March 13Mar 13 My first recommendation would be to delete/rename /boot/config/plugins/dynamix/dynamix.cfgThen reconfigure notifications and retest, note that a few more settings will return to default, e.g., utilization and temp warnings.
March 13Mar 13 Author Renamed it and my settings were defaulted as my colors were reverted and email settings were gone. Set up notifications again for browser and agent as my pushover settings were kept. I even did a restart to be sure but still no notifications for my disks when setting the global values to 1 and 2. Tested one at a time just to be sure, warn at 1 and crit at 100 then crit down to 2.
March 13Mar 13 If that doesn't help, you can try a bigger hammer, that is, try redoing the flash drive, backup the current one first and then recreate it using the USB tool and just restore the bare minimum, like the key, super.dat and the pools folder for the assignments, also copy the docker user templates folder (\config\plugins\dockerMan\templates-user), if all works you can then reconfigure the server or try restoring a few config files at a time from the backup to see if you can find the culprit.
