Route Containers Through WireGuard using ProtonVPN

Featured Replies

I followed the video created by @SpaceInvaderOne and tried to apply it using my protonVPN wireguard config.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yBF9c0u2wCE

The tunnel appears to send and receive data, but when I have FireFox pointed to the wg0 tunnel, the webui doesn't open and I see this in the logs:

xsettingsd: Loaded 5 settings from /config/.xsettingsd
_XSERVTransmkdir: ERROR: euid != 0,directory /tmp/.X11-unix will not be created.
xsettingsd: Unable to open connection to X server

Are ProtonVPN wireguard configs not compatible with Unraid? The config file works when I use it with my glinet router.

I'm not using Proton, but when i tried to open Firefox with a VPN WireGuard config in unRAID, it wouldn't let me via http - i had to use the https IP provided in the docker info. Strangely, i did not have this issue with LibreWolf.

May not be the same problem, but i thought i'd put it out there.
