June 12, 201214 yr Could you please include a more complete version of PHP (zip support too!) with a future version of unRAID? It's also time to remove emhttp from its throne, let's move to something more modern with session support, etc Cheers!
June 14, 201214 yr If this will help with plugin design and simplefeatures, im for it. As long as it's lightweight as well..
June 16, 201214 yr +1 It would be nice to have something with thread support so the GUI doesn't lock up if there are any problems.
June 16, 201214 yr Author FYI Tom has confirmed that he is working on lighttpd as being the replacement for emhttp. It should arrive in the next series of betas after the RC becomes a full release.

June 18, 201214 yr ahhh finally nothing worse than trying to stop array and getting stuck on "retry unmounting array" and the whole gui becomes useless and you have to telnet in Sounds GREAT Just using a different web-server does not eliminate the fact that the existing interface is still going to be re-trying to unmount the disks in the array. The real fix is to report the issue to those who write the plugins so they use the events present to stop the services so disks can be un-mounted. The alternate web-server will make it easier to have Ajax/interactive javascript enabled forms and more advanced plugins. Sounds good... It will present a different set of issues... as the initial bugs and kinks are worked out, but those should be gone by 5.2 (mostly).
