Try this:

stop the array

type unraid-api restart

See if it now starts, and if yes, you can then start the array, and it should remain running.

ok stopped array and ran unraid-api restart in terminal

seems to show online, but when i go into connect settings and press refresh, it still shows launching and still cannot generate new API key

It's still stuck on a restart loop, I saw this recently, and it got fixed by an update. My recommendation would be to retest once the next Connect release is out, which should be very soon.

ok thanks

Similar problem with recent update. I'm unable to log in to Connect, API running after several restarts

But no trace of Flash backup status nor sing out button

I've tried uninstalling plugin, rebooting and reinstalling without success.

I am also having the same issue. I try to login with my credentials but the unraid API settings still says login. Frustrating.

Updated Connect to 2026.03.23.2309 just now on one of my unRAID Pro servers.

It gives this error when trying to sign in:

image.png

This was after it deleted the key on the unRAID server I updated Connect on.

I was able to link the key back to my server, then this screen came up.

I can't get it to connect at all and now both of my unRAID servers are OFFLINE on Connect Dashboard.

Both servers are on 7.2.4.

There is no stable release above that.

So why does it tell me to update?:

Wonderful update!

Please fix.

Yup both of my servers are not showing up under Connect. I am unable to add them.

I already opened a support ticket and they seemed to have it fixed. The "Check OS Snapshot issue" stop showing and now I've regained the option to re-register on Connect.

I didn't have to restart unraid-api, reinstall connect plugin or reboot the server. I just tried again, as suggested by Support and everything went fine. Hope this helps you, guys.

Thank you for submitting the ticket and reporting back it's fixed. I was able to register my server again. Cheers.

I cant register my server. What are you guys doing? I tried reinstalling the connect plugin, restart the server, restart the api. Not sure what else to do.

Start on your server: Settings>MGMT Access

then go to the Unraid API Settings tab.

Click on Sign in to Unraid.net

That should start the process of getting it connected.

If you have to add your key at some point too, I had to, it will tell you how to do it. It's basically just clicking on the boxes that are hidden links.

the classic fix.

Nice.

Not sure if this is an issue on my end but the Connect Dashboard shows the old software revision of Connect. Both servers have the latest plugin.

Not sure, but I believe that number is the version that was used first to link unRAID Connect with your server. Just a guess. Here is mine:

Thanks. My other server wont connect. Both servers are successfully backing up the flash drive.

try that reboot trick again. Otherwise submit a ticket.

It's obvious this update had issues.

Will do.

Do you see the Connect icon? The orange ball, top-right of the GUI.

I would reboot the server.

If that doesn't allow the sign in button to appear, remove the unRAID Connect app, then reinstall it.

If the plugin is uninstalled, but the orange icon doesn't show, open a terminal window and copy/paste

unraid-api plugins install unraid-api-plugin-connect

Once that's done, refresh the GUI and you should now see the orange icon.

my recommendation would be to fallback this buggy release and test thoroughly before releasing another one.
