March 26Mar 26 Hi, my unraid hangs from time to time, a reboot solves itnow i have made a diagnostics right after the reboot?can we still see what happend?thanks beanserver-diagnostics-20260326-0847.zip
March 26Mar 26 Community Expert The syslog in the diagnostics is the RAM version that starts afresh every time the system is booted. You should enable the syslog server (probably with the option to Mirror to Flash set) to get a syslog that survives a reboot so we can see what leads up to the problem. The mirror to flash option is the easiest to set up (and if used the file is then automatically included in any diagnostics), but if you are worried about excessive wear on the flash drive you can put your server's address into the remote server field and log to a share instead.
March 29Mar 29 Author Hey, I have turned on this options, And now it happend again so I hope you can see what went wrongThanks beanserver-diagnostics-20260329-0911.zip
March 29Mar 29 Community Expert Assuming the syslog-previous covers a crash, there's nothing relevant logged there, this is typically a hardware issue, if you haven't yet run memtest for a few hours, or and because memtest is only definitive if it finds errors, if you have multiple sticks try using the server with just one, if the same try with a different one, that will basically rule out bad RAM.
