HDD wont spin down after installing NUT (UPS)

As the title states, I was using the inbuilt ups management tool for Unraid however it is an APC BX1200MI and Unraid was throwing battery errors even though it's brand new.

I saw other poeple saying to use NUT, I installed the plugin and configured to the best of my ability, however now my HDD's spin down and then immediately respin up, could NUT be polling them? if so what do i change to stop this?

    Don't think that's possible, do they stay spun sown if you temporarily stop the NUT service?
