April 17Apr 17 I had a disk that was failing (Disk 1) and replaced it with a new disk. There was a power outage during the rebuild process which caused the server to shut down before the rebuild finished. One booted back up, the option to rebuild the disk is no longer there, only to format the disk. I tried putting the old disk back in, but it no longer recognizes it as Disk 1 and warns that it will be formatted one the array is started. Starting the array with no disk assigned to Disk 1 it says its disabled and contents are emulated, but it seems I’m missing any files saved after December of ’25. Is there a way to recover the data from the original Disk 1, or am I SOL?
April 17Apr 17 Community Expert Emulated disk1 may need a file systemcheck, but due to all the span, see below), I cannot see the error. Reboot and post new diags after array start.Disk9 is formatted with type 2 protection and spamming the log because that needs to be removed later (requires low lever reformatting the disk)
