I am unable to start my array.

On the Main Tab, the start button is greyed out. Best the grey start button, "Too many and/or missing disks!"

Before performing the following, I took a screenshot of the array. See attached.

This issue arose shortly after I thought I had successfully shrunk my array by removing a 380GB HDD. Dev 1 WDC_WD3200JS-57PDB0_WD-WCAPD1857080 (sde)

I thought that process went successfully.

That drive remains connected.

A day later, I had errors on Dev 1 WDC_WD3200JS-57PDB0_WD-WCAPD1857080 (sde). I have had some issues with this drive/connector in the past. In the past, to fix, I had reconnected the drive and cable, rebuilt the drive, and continued.

Now, I can't do this because I cannot get the array started.

I think the drives might be assigned incorrectly. How can I look where the system is expecting the drives to be?

Thanks

There are issues with detecting this device, probably the missing disk, possibly connected to the onboard SATA port 5. Check/replace its cables and post new diags
