April 29Apr 29 I was updating my parity drive to a larger size. when it finished the parity check my disc 5 started to have issues and says unmountable. since the check on 4-27 says the status is ok and I want to change all my drive to a larger size I am wondering if I can just replace the disc 5 with a new larger drive and be able to rebuilt it with the parity?I am assuming the answer is no with the huge number of errors but not sure why it would show the status as OK if the parity was not intact

May 4May 4 Author it ran one check and then had a fix button. it is currently going through that process and then I will check in again if it doesn't work. Sorry for the delay. Each one seems to take about 24 hours

May 4May 4 Community Expert That means the file system is very corrupt; possibly parity is not 100% in sync. See if the actual disk mounts with the UD plugin; you can do that after unassigning it.
May 4May 4 Author UD plugin? I don't see that in the apps search. if I cant mount the disc what do i do?
May 5May 5 Author What would be the next step after I get it mounted? Sorry I am not familiar with this issue
May 5May 5 Community Expert Solution If the actual disk mounts and contents look OK you can do a new config and resync parity instead.
May 8May 8 Author doing a new config and resync parity fixed it. I am surprised since that was also what caused it to break. thank you for the help
