lost VPN after upgrading to 7.2.5 - SOLVED

Featured Replies

I had VPN working on 7.2.4 but after upgrading to 7.2.5 qbittorrent and slskd are no longer connecting to the VPN.

It looks like Unraid is putting the wg0 network on some random network with a random named gateway and there is no routing between this network and the standard docker network so qbittorrent and slskd can reach wg0. See pics.

The VPN is ProtonVPN I set up by importing the wireguard configuration and all worked well before. I can still ping the peer from the VPNmanager page in Unraid, so the VPN connection is still valid.

I tried adding the mac address for the qbittorrent and slksd in the new mac address parameter section without success.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Turns out ProtonVPN wireguard configurations have a 1 year term and need to be renewed. Mine expired the exact same time I upgraded Unraid to 7.2.5. Sent me down the wrong rabbit hole for a day until I discovered this.
