May 12May 12 After having various problems with dockers (arr-stack) I went the usual route for me: Remove dockers, reinstall and run in a backup. At some point in the process the apps tab became unresponsive. I decided to remove community apps from plugins to reinstall. Now when I go to the apps tab it shows a button to reinstall the plugin, but also immediately a message "Attention - operation continues in background [00029181]". Clicking the install button does not seem to have any effect.Being reminded of a somewhat similar problem in the earliest days of my Unraid history involving Limewire support, I decided to format the flash drive and run in a recent backup. The server boots fine and everything works, except the docker tab takes forever to display and the apps tab reproduces the behaviour I outlined above. What can I do to fix this problem?Since running in the backup has reverted to version 7.2.4 I decided updating to 7.2.6 might in itself solve the problem. The update first says "Up to date" on 7.2.4 which we know is incorrect, then after clicking "show more" some checks are running and I'm offered to update to 7.2.6. Once the installer returns to the server to perform the update nothing happens.

Here's where I am now.Rewrote the flash with 7.2.6 from Limetech.Copied over the license, pools directory and super.dat from the old installation.Booted and clicked apps, installed community apps without a problem. Apps working.Clicked "docker" and saw a long wait until the docker screen displayed the containers from my previous installation. 2 of them running.Clicked back at apps, now no longer working (!). A well known message "this is taking longer than expected" until I grew tired of waiting.Removed all docker containers and manually deleted everything in the appdata directory storing my docker containers. Rebooted and everything seemingly working fine. Installed Firefox to try out docker functionality. Working normal, both the tab and the app.I have a working system, but what have I lost. A lot of settings in Unraid. Docker container setups. GluetunVPN is a b*tch to set up.I have flash backups. Copying everything back on the Flash might restore the Unraid settings. The docker containers. I think I have backups for the individual apps like Sonarr. That probably won't help setting them up, just restoring their state?Any advice for the smoothest sailing?
May 13May 13 Author I think I've reproduced the error. The unwanted behavior started when I was trying to get Sabnzbd and others to use Gluetunvpn for network. It's been working for more than a year, but the dockers wouldn't run and gave "server error" and "image can't be deleted" and "container in use by other..". I can't say such behaviour is unseen in my setup, but I'm usually able to correct it by running in a backup from the backup plugin. Not this time. When I changed (in a spur of the moment attempt) the network in GluetunVPN from bridge to host. That's when things went downhill. The dockers start working with GluetunVPN, but the apps section is cut off. Stopping GluetunVPN does not help. Removing it and deleting the app folder and rebooting and it's OK again. So there I am back to square one. A well working server setup like before, but the docker network problem remains. It's good to know what caused the annoyance. Edited May 13May 13 by helgrimm
May 13May 13 Settings for each container install (from Add/Edit/Update Container page) are in its template on flash at config/plugins/dockerMan/templates-userSettings and other working data for each container application are in its appdata. If you have those, you can recreate your containers.https://docs.unraid.net/unraid-os/troubleshooting/common-issues/docker-troubleshooting/
May 13May 13 Author Thanks a lot. Yeah I got those and I have restored them. The previous setup is back. I have to try to learn from this :)
