May 18May 18 I am considering rebooting my homelab project I started years ago and never got around to doing. I tried fussing with Proxmox but I don't know if I'm smart enough for all of that! I want to turn this old gaming machine into a box that sits in the corner and behaves while I'm off living life. I don't want to fuss with configuration files, learn Traefik, or really deal with command line at all despite being moderately comfortable with bash. I want simple, easy, and functional, I want to stop spending hours banging my head against a wall and actually get this thing done so I can move on.Things I need:Expose services to the internet via reverse proxy and or VPNConnect my 24 TB NAS as primary storage for all of my appsGPU acceleration/passthrough for AI-related apps (NVIDIA)I want to run basic apps like Home Assistant, Nextcloud, Immich, maybe some game servers on occasion. I am just a dude who just wants to get away from big tech, not a server wizard.

The more services /complexity the more attention needed obviously. But yeah that's what many of us do, it can do all of that. Edited May 18May 18 by Kilrah
