New X15 missing external flash with free license

Featured Replies

My new X15 just arrived but doesn’t appear to be booting (no beeps). I also notice that there isn’t a flash drive which IIRC is required for license validation with the new internal boot.

I’ve submitted a support ticket with LT but I’m hoping maybe others have also ordered a new X15 and might know what the process is for the necessary setup? It doesn’t come with any guides. Just a bunch of screws and cables.

It should use TPM for licensing, no flash drive is required.

I guess I need to try connecting a monitor so I can see what’s happening. I know there aren’t any beeps from the cpu and no blinking lights on the Ethernet port.

I don’t see any reset buttons. Just a switch on the power supply.

Nevermind. Took a call to the 45Homelabs tech support team but they quickly figure out the issue. You have to push the button. DUH. 😳😳😳

Black button and it just blends right in with the case if the unit isn’t started.
